The Spirit of Wisdom.

Revelation 5:6b KJVA

And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. Make a note of the latter verse: The Seven Spirits of God. Isaiah 11:2 (ESV) And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord. Wisdom is one of the Seven Spirits of God. Let's look at a prayer from the Apostle Paul. Ephesians 1:17 AMP [I always pray] that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may grant you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation [that gives you a deep and personal and intimate insight] into the true knowledge of Him [for we know the Father through the Son]. that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may grant you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation [that gives you a deep and personal and intimate insight]. Insight into how to manage  our time, days, money, business, and what to do about our job. Therefore, we can say that it's God's desire for us to have the fullness of the Spirit of wisdom. This prayer is one that we are sure God will answer as if it wasn't so, then the Holy Spirit wouldn't have written it. The Spirit of Wisdom brings insight into mysteries and secrets. Psalm 90:12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. Ecclesiastes 7:12 For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it. Being full of wisdom defends us from wasteful days. It allows is to know exactly what it is that we must be doing each and every day. 

What does wisdom do for us? 

1. Wisdom allows us to stay on course of purpose fulfillment. 2. Wisdom prevents idleness and making error. 3. With wisdom we are able to line up with the right friends, job, make the right decisions that will bring success and prosperity. 

Look at king Saul whom God had plan to give an lasting leniage. He failed because of lack of wisdom. The same can be said for the children of Israel. Who lacked the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation  into the true knowledge of God and thus rebelled against Him. Prayer point: We are going to pray for the Spirit of Wisdom to infuse with our Spirit so that we maybe filled with wisdom to know the hope of our calling. Ephesians 1:18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people.
