KINGDOM KEYS TO A SUCCESSFUL LIFE DEVOTIONAL

AUGUST 29th , 2017 Evangelist Lady Grace Matthew 13:44 “The Kingdom of Heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field." This parable (story) is about the eagerness of a man to obtain the treasure (Kingdom of Heaven) which he found by chance as he was searching, and the sacrifice he readily and happily made for it. He gave up on his worldly way of life. Forsaking all that he had in the world just to acquire the riches of the Kingdom of Heaven. This man understood that the treasure he found had in it, everything and even more of what he's been searching for all his life. He caught the revelation given in  Matthew 6:33, that if he was to give up everything and seek first the Kingdom of Heaven, then he wasn't losing but he was actually gaining. And so, he sacrificed his thought, his philosophies, his way of doing things, his fleshly desires, and the worldly sinful things, to gain Revelation Knowledge of Truth. For he wanted something more. Something that made sense. Something that gave him a deeper satisfaction of integrity (Holiness; oneness). Something that allowed him to be successful and spiritually fulfilled. He wanted what he had lost as a result of sin. Hence, it was not difficult to sacrifice, (to give of oneself), stripping himself of what he had, all other attachments and  affections. Renouncing every other desire, cares, and pursuit. All interest and pleasures that he sees to be incompatible with his new found enjoyment of the salvation he seeks. Giving up on anything that would prevent him from obtaining the Kingdom of Heaven to become poor and humble in the eyes of God. He also understood that, life in the Kingdom allows him to enjoy all the precious things in this world that human loves such as; our earthly ambitions for education, job, security, family, socialization, and yes wealth but our intention for these must be noble and legitimate. No one but a fool would deny himself or herself the convenience and the necessity of having these worldly possessions. But they must be regarded as tools, to sustain us while we are here so that we can get the job done.

The Kingdom of Heaven is our true treasure, because it is permanent. Meaning that anyone who desires it can never lose it. Therefore, when anyone finds it, they find peace and joy above all earthly treasure, causing them to readily sacrifice the lower wealth in order to obtain the higher.  Further Reading: Ecclesiastes 5:10(NIV) "Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income. This too is meaningless." Matthew 6:33(NIV) "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
