Your past is not a roadblock neither is it an unmovable wall of shame that has power over your present and future. It’s not a barrier between you and God. Thus, He is willing and able to meet you at your lowest point. In fact, those who find themselves in such places are more than usable to God and His plan. For in such people, is a humble and contrite spirit, which qualifies them to receive the Power of God (Holy Spirit) to do great and marvelous works through them. So, never allow anyone to talk you down, not even your own self. Remember that "...the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17) and "...if the Son sets you free, you are indeed free (John 8:36)." Therefore, rejoice in your low situation because this is where God will meet you and take you to greater heights. He’s not waiting for you to get "clean up." No! Because He is more than capable of cleaning you up for His glory. So, refuse to be held in the reigns of brokenness, shame, addiction, double life, or unrighteousness and receive His freely given grace over your life today, in Jesus name!
