LEAD BY EXAMPLE

Evangelist Lady Grace As a Christian, your life at all times must be a reflection of Christ Jesus. For as Jesus said, "For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise..."(John 5:19). The Word of God is given to us as a guide, teacher, motivator, for inspiration, empowerment and the very road map to live by the Kingdom culture, principles and concepts. Therefore, we are not lost or being led blindly. So, we must take advantage of what is given to us and use it. Don't just be a hearer of the Word, but be a doer also (James 1:22). Our lives is the very embodiment of Christianity and thus must be evident in everything that we do and say. Therefore, we must be on our guard at all times, so that the attributes of the Holy Spirit, "love, joy, peace, patience, kindness goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control" (Galatians 5:22-23) is displayed on the outside as it is on the inside. Because, as Christians our lives and speech are always under a microscope by he who comes to kill and destroy. Remember Jesus Words to us, "Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the Prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in Me?" Jesus was confident of His holiness (His Words and Him being one) and His righteousness (He maintained a morally right, justifiable, ethically upright life). Even though He was tempted of the devil, He did not yield to the temptations and thus remained sinless even unto death. Likewise so should we. Therefore, you cannot be an angry, abusive, insulting, negative, lying, unforgiving, quick tempered, misleading, unbelieving, keeping malice, strife, or unkind pastor and first lady in the pulpit, departmental leaders or congregational members of the house of God. Always keep in mind, that your behavior affects those whom you serve, those who you could potentially serve, and are monitored by the destroyer (1 Peter 5:8). So be sober and vigilant. Keep watch and guard your righteousness and holiness.
